Rule 149
Term or notice to be served on heirs or legal practitioners
(1) The party to the case may appoint an heir or legal practitioner to accept any deadline or notice given to him by the court.
(2) In accordance with sub-rule (1), the party shall inform the court that the heir or legal practitioner has been appointed.
(3) The heirs and legal practitioners appointed in accordance with sub-rule (1) shall provide the details of their address, phone number, mobile number, email address, post box number and also the address of their office to the relevant authorities.
(4) Details as per sub-rule (3) shall be verified by the branch head and one copy of the relevant missile shall be attached.
(5) Any deadline or notice to be given to the parties by the court may be delivered or sent to the phone number, mobile number, email, post box number or office address mentioned in the details made available in accordance with sub-rule (3).
(6) According to sub-rule (5), the term or notice served or communicated shall be deemed to have been received by him in accordance with the law.
